Depending on the needs of your organization, a notification letter of a COBRA-qualifying event will be sent to the employee and any covered dependents. Island Group Administration will conduct the billing for this aspect of the plan, and will collect the premiums. All premium checks will be made payable to our clients as the plan sponsor. Island Group will conduct the appropriate follow-up work, and will notify your organization of any failure on the part of the COBRA-qualified person to pay premium or provide necessary documentation.
